The Birmingham NEC was the venue for this years Sport and Leisure Aviation show, which was formerly known as the International Airsports Exhibition when held in Telford.

The Bailey Aviation team were there in force, exhibiting their range of paramotors, wings and related accessories. Their superb stand was colourful, informative and very well staffed and was undoubtedly one of the best stands exhibiting. Whether you wanted a beginners wing, a state-of-the-art 4 stroke paramotor or just good old fashioned advice, there was a friendly Bailey Staff member or Pilot offering their services over the whole weekend.

The stand was one of the busiest on display and Bailey Aviations owner, Paul Bailey commented 'This is our most successful show to date, for both sales and enquiries'. As ever the Bailey 4 Stroke 150 paramotor was the centre of attention, drawing crowds marvelling at the build quality and neat packaging of this cutting edge design.

All in all a great exhibition for anything that flies, be it hanggliders, paramotors, trikes, microlights and everything else imaginable. For more details check out the exhibitions website at www.sportaviation.org.uk

TIM HALLS 2005 BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION

Intrepid explorer and photographer, Tim Hall undertook a simply remarkable expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula, departing in December 2004, equipped with a Bailey Corsair Paramotor. This was the first ever Paramotor flight in the Antarctic region and his story makes for a riveting read.

Tim is currently co-producing a TV documentary about the expedition, as he has over 50 hours of High Definition video footage and a very interesting story to tell!

Tim researched his choice of equipment thoroughly and chose a Bailey Aviation paramotor to endure the toughest possible flying environment in the World. Bailey Aviation are delighted to be Tim's number one choice and look forward to seeing the final television programme when it airs!

You can download Tim's 4-page article that he wrote for 'Skywings' Magazine and also the full 32-page official expedition report, as well as viewing his amazing pictures by clicking on the expedition gallery link.

Well-done Tim from all at Bailey Aviation!
